In the Stillness of Time

These short talks (typically 4 to 5 minutes) are specifically designed to inspire meditators to develop a regular meditation practice and are suitable for both lone meditators and as an introduction to group meditation.   They were originally written as part of WCCM in the UK’s outreach bringing meditation to people in prison but are appropriate to any meditation group and individual meditators.

The talks were written by Michael Bow, Rev Allison Waterhouse and Geoff Waterhouse. 

• Michael is a member of The Religious Society of Friends and is a practising meditator.  He has considerable experience in leading meditation in prison.
• Allison is a Methodist Minister involved in Community Chaplaincy and leads meditation in prison.  Her interest is in the transformative potential of spirituality.  
• Geoff is a Methodist local preacher and formerly WCCM UK Prison Coordinator. He leads meditation groups both inside and outside prison.
