My name is Vladimir Volrab, and I am the director of the WCCM Academy. I am delighted to introduce you to our transformative two-year program of inter-disciplinary religious study, rooted in contemplative practice.
Inspired by meditation as a universal source of wisdom, the Academy integrates this insight into theology, Scripture, and various aspects of life and society. Through systematic education and practice, the program bridges intellectual understanding with a deeply personal inner journey.
As demonstrated by students in our first group, the program can be a truly life-changing experience. It offers a profound way to deepen your faith and open yourself to greater wisdom. Applications Now Open
We are excited to announce that applications are now open for the next cohort, which begins in late March 2025. The program is primarily suited for participants in the Oceania and Asia time zones, but for people who are retired or have flexible working hours this is well managed from European time zones where online lessons will be in the mornings.
Program Details
The Academy welcomes everyone who wishes to deepen their contemplative approach to life. There are no age or education requirements. The majority of classes, seminars, and meetings with guides take place online, and each year includes three residential study and practice weeks (Bonnevaux and Malaysia – It is possible to ask the Bonnevaux Scholarship Fund for financial assistance with travel expenses.)
World-Renowned Teachers
Our faculty includes esteemed teachers such as Laurence Freeman, Sarah Bachelard, Rowan Williams, and many others. Students benefit from unique and intense interactions with these remarkable teachers. Growth is fostered not only through online lessons but also through sharing, discussion, and reflection. Personal Guidance
Each student is assigned a guide for the entire duration of the program. These experienced teachers from our community provide encouragement and support, helping students connect their learning and growth to their daily lives and service to others.
